Apparently it is possible to vaccinate chicks for Marek's in the egg. You inject the vaccine into the air cell at day 19. It is how some commercial hatcheries do it and it is suppose to work very well.
Anyone know how to do this? Can you use the regular subcutaneous vaccine?

Looks like a crystal cube! - well it does sort of see the future...
I thought it was the mothership....
Here is an article discussing "in ovo" vaccinations...it goes into some detail with Marek's.

Mother ship, see the future: OK OK, so its a project in progress. The reason there's so much light was I put a spunge on the top to seal around the egg as the egg is not perfectly round and it works great, the only problem is that the sponge is so porus it lets in to much light, so I have to use some kind of material that is not porus and will seal around the egg as wood will not. I think I have an idea but I won't share yet as you and my dear friend Pork Pal might laugh to much...LOL "Mother Ship" "See the future" Hummp...Hay.
We are laughing WITH you, Haystack!
We are? Oh, yea....with you!
LOL This is great.. Mother Bird loves the attempts at Mother Ship.
