Something new in the blueberry world, a pink blueberry. I received the Hartman's Nursery catalog yesterday. They are advertising "Pink Champagne" blueberry. Quote "Biting into the crispy, deep pink berries will offer a mix of the flavors and aromas of red grapes and tropical fruits"
I bought some "Pink Lemonade" blueberry plants last year that were very small from another vendor. I'm wondering if they are the same variety as it seems like too much of a coincidence to suddenly have two varieties of pink blueberries. I wonder if we are gong to be able to keep calling them blueberries now.
Anybody actually taste any of these new types?
