T. Brown Firebird
A couple blooms from this week
Both gorgeous. I wonder what the offspring of these two would be like...??
Barb
Wow, Jon. Both are stunning!!! Couldn't pick a favorite as I love both of them. Thanks for brightening up our day.
Hugs,

Thanks Barb and Judy,
Barb,

I hope it warms up soon for everyone.... I remember having to drive on the iced roads when I lived in Dallas. It was the worst. I'm going to check on my plants today and will post some more pics if I can find the darn camera charger.
Jon that " T. Brown Firebird " is gorgeouse, does it set seeds like that beautiful " Moonshadow " does. the cross between both of the should produce something really gorgeouse indeed. I was thinking that a cross between " T. Brown Firebird " with a really dark solid red would produce something beautiful too as i am imagining that wonderful dark color Of the " T. Brown Firebird with dark red vein in the center. something like the photo I tried to color fix to get close to what I was thinking, my photo shop is not so good to be able to show you better but maybe you"ll get the idea..

Thanks Wilfred,
Im not sure if T. Brown Firebird set seed yet. I hope it does as there are a few others I would like to cross with it. I have a really nice brown with red edges that I would like to give a try
Jon, do you have any photos of the brown with red edges, that must look awesome, cross between both of them would probable produce some really gorgeous hibs seedling.
Wilfred
Beautiful! I really love your Moon Shadow :-)
Jon it still is an awesome looking hib a like i said, cross between both of them should produce some really gorgeouse hibs seedling. I would love to cross pollinate that " T. Burning Sands " yours with my " Manila " and I would also like to cross pollinate your gorgeouse " T. Burning Firebird " with my " Manila ", Think it would produce some really gorgeouse hibs. BTW Jon, remember the cutting I sent you of manila that didn't make it when you tried to graft it, well I planted a cutting for you and its been ready to mail it to you since a while but with all that bad weather that's going on in the states now I didn't want to risk it to be frozen somewhere in between getting to you, just waiting for it to get warmer. That way you can do the crossing with them both, to bad the cuttings You sent me died too, the mistake in the mailing address cost them to much precious time to survive and I had so much hope they would had survived so I could use them to cross pollinate them with some of mien as they were so gorgeouse hibs. I going to produce some more cutting of my " Manila " to sell them in the future to be able to get some of the money back I've put in cultivating my hibs and creating new ones, just hope they sell well when I do.
Wilfred
