Im Ranting... People are so stupid!!!

I live in a rural area of tx... even though Im in the city limits its not like I live in a city if that makes any sense.. I have a new neighbor with a BEAUTIFUL blue heeler pup of about 8 mons old.. I get so upset when I see him leave and he takes the dog with him.. he drives a welding truck and the pup rides on the open bed with no cross ties to hold him on.. Today I headed in to lukin and wizzing past me at about 60 mph is my neighbor with the pup at the back of the truck running back and forth I was waiting for the SPLAT to happen.. I have tried to talk to my neighbor about putting the dog there, that he should at least take the time to crossed tie him if he doesnt want him in the cab..itd take him all of 30 seconds to snap leads on the the pup but I guess thats to much work... At one point I asked him if he would ever put a 3 yr old child back to roam about while hes crusing down the hwyway cause thats about what the dog is as far as being able to hold on and stuff..Im just waiting for the day I dont see the dog in the yard.. he tells me the pup is just fine but I told him to many dogs are killed by doing that. I want to say you might as well put a gun to the pups head now cause it will happen but cause we are neighbors I didnt but it was real hard NOT to say it....I just dont understand the mentallity that thinks dogs are a disposible item
