Hi I looked through your want list and sadly I don't have anything you have listed. I have a small unknown cycad I could trade you. Or would you possibly consider payment for one of your seedlings?

Sorry Catz, I'm trying to trade these.

I can't find Hydnophytum formicarium or Myrmecodia beccarii in plant files .. would you please add those plants with pictures in plant files?

I'd be interested in trading for seeds .. I have the Vigna caracalla (I also have vigna phaseolus caracalla and vigna angularis if you really like the Vigna genus) and Passiflora mollissima you are looking for.

Since they are called Ant Plants I guess they attract ants and must have extra-floral nectaries - If you have seeds, then what does the flower look like? How long from seed does it take to create the caudiform?

I'll have to add those to the plant files, when they flower & fruit again this summer.

The "ant plants" are an interesting group of epiphytes that have swollen bases in which ants will nest. Mine do not have any ants in them, but they grow just fine, I guess we do not have the right kind of ants around here. The flowers are small & white, not very showy, and followed by small orange berries. I grew these from seeds I collected last summer, they are only 1-2" tall but already have the swollen caudex.
