Is it too early to start discussing a Spring round up? This one will be at a local park since it's usually too large to host at home. So the question is do we want it in March or April?

At this time either month will work for me, I sure look forward to it
There is going to be an RU in The Woodlands on April 10th, so hopefully the CS one won't be the same day. :-)

I have already rented the pavillion in Arlington for May 2nd for the N Central TX RU. I don't know if that would make a difference on you setting your date but just fyi.
Yes Sheila it does. Saturdays in March are 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. April's are the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th. Now for those of us who enjoy Spring break, I know that ours in this area starts March 13th. April 4th is Easter. The other option is to combine ours with the one in the Woodlands. So let's talk it over.

HI all just an FYI from East Texas with the dates being tossed around and the gulf picking April 10 and Arlington May 2 we are looking into our place for possibly April 17 or May 15 but I am waiting to see if we can get Loves Lookout on one of those dates

The ETRU will be May 15th ...so it will be later than most others (yea!!!! we can make 'em all!)

I would love to combine the College Station RU with The Woodlands (Gulf Coast RU)!
It would sure simplify things! What fun!
The combining the two would work great for us. I've got a Guinea Fowl conference and a couple of other obligations that sure addup quick! haha!!!

combining the two RU would be fine to me....really doesn't matter,....'cause I'll attend both if they're separate....but it would mean less driving/expense/not dedicating 2 separate weekends Lee
It would be fun combining these, lots of new people to meet. But we also have a nice big spring RU in college station each year too. Personally I will be restricted for most RU dates this year because of animals we have due at the university around those times. So a RU close to home would be nice. Anne...I appreciate you starting this thread and taking this up. I seem to have less and less time anymore it seems. I am hoping once spring rolls around I will get a bit of time to myself for the garden, but who knows.

I actually started a new bed last fall right before the first bad freeze. That's as far as I got. I turned the soil over in one area. I vote we go find that ground hog and roast him. I got some shadows for him! lol

Well, what few comments we've had seem to be for a combined round up. I'm fine with it. We can do the smaller one this fall here again if everyone wants. With things the way they are it would be more economical. Let's do it.
