My Rooster was attacked by a dog

My rooster was attacked by my teanants jack russell, there are open wounds on my roosters back, i called every vet but no one cares for roosters we live in new york, i have the rooster in my bath tub and i think its in shock, i read on several forums to use salt water solution and treat the back and neosporin with a bandage i need help and other caring advise we are very attached to the rooster it s about 8 months old

When I raised chickens, they often recovered better from open external injuries than internal ones. I'll see if I can find out any more info. Let us know if he passes on - the longer he lasts, the better his chances. I'm really sorry this happened to you and your rooster.
