How does a Round Robin work?

Spicewood, TX(Zone 8b)

I'd really be interested to know. I don't know if any will be starting soon or if it's something I would be able to join in right now (lack of time this month), but I'd like to know for the future. From all the posts about them, it sure sounds like fun!

Thanks!

Wing
The person who starts it fills a package with a number of seed packets and sends it to the 1st person on the list.
That person picks out the number of packets they want and replaces them with the same number or more of their seeds and sends it on to the next person etc.

Its a great way to get many varieties of seeds if everyone follows through

It is also a good idea if you take out 3 perennials and 2 annuals to replace them with 3 perennials and 2 annuals. Also if there are already 2 trades of one kind of seed add something else so that everyone has a good variety.
Join the next one that starts and see for yourself.

I want to do this too, over the winter, when dreaming & scheming of gardening is all I can do! & by the way, thank you ALL for trading with this newcomer to Davesgarden; my mailbox is full of fun stuff everyday & my postman is getting a kick about all these chubby envelopes I'm sending out in return. (I live in hicksville where the mailman still discusses your mail with you when you get it weighed at the post office, the old "what're you up to NOW?" kinda town. haha!
