"Faux" Pedestal

Lexington, VA(Zone 6a)

I posted a similar thread in the Trash to Treasure forum but no one was able to help me so thought maybe someone here could! I've been in the middle of a remodeling project for the past couple of months and have visited WAY too many DIY sites for ideas. Somewhere in my numerous searches I saw a site where someone had made a "faux" pedestal (similar to the photo) out of foam insulation (blue board) and spray painted it with stone textured paint. I can't believe I didn't bookmark the site :( At the time I thought it would be a neat project to display an object in the garden and now I've decided I need to make one to give a new urn I bought more height in our front entry. Has anyone ever seen or done anything like this? It looked really simple, just cut the foam board to size, use an electric knife to make angle cuts for the edges, glue it all together and spray paint it. I've looked and looked for the site where I saw the instructions but I can't find it :( I might just wing it and attempt it without instructions but would love to be able to find the "real" instructions :) Has anyone ever seen anything like this?
