Some time ago I posted a question on this forum asking about where I might find Sierra French Crisp Batavian Lettuce seed. Someone responded by providing the name of a company out of San Jose, CA. if memory serves me right. However, therein lies the problem, because I stupidly threw away the empty packets and can't remember the name of that seed company for the life of me! Help!

I'm considering doing a side-by-side grow test this year.
Lettuceman,
I found an article written by the UC Cooperative Extension Service agent for Santa Clara County. At the bottom of the page, you'll find a list of seed companies that sell the summpercrisp types.

Yes hostamomma, that's the outfit I bought the seeds from! A million thanks to you...I'd have never remembered that. They say when we age that memory is the first thing to go, and I'm beginning to believe that.
bettydee, thank you for your input as well.
