CLOSED: Ajuga

Highland, IL

I have ajuga (bugle weed) that I will be thinning in the Spring, I have black scalluped-burgandy glow and choc. chip. I would like to swap for other ground covers, ivy's or ferns. If you are interested for a spring trade I am starting my list, please send me a dmail. Thank you Laura H

Didn't any of the ivy and piggy backs take that I sent you last summer? Mine are still growing and doing well.

They didn't make it, I was hoping that the Ivy would work on a slope that we have that faces South, I don't know if they didn't make it due to lack of water, I did water them weekly, or when the county mowed it. I was hoping it would take over on the slope and it would help smother the weeds and grass there. But if you would like ajuga, I will gladly put you on the list.

No thanks, sorry the ivy didn't take for you.

I really hate the ivy didn't take, I loved that ivy. You were very generous I truly appreciate it. Is there anything else you are looking for?

Hi, I would love some cutting of all three if I can. The only one I have your looking for is ferns. I have Ostrich ferns,I would offer as a trade. If you would llike them. Karen

I would be interested in all three. I have several kinds of ground covers, particularily those good for shade. I will know more about what is available in the spring.

Laura,

Let me know if you like Christmas Ferns and I'll dig fresh ones for you mid to late May after we thaw out. They are perennials in Zones 3-9, grow abundantly in our woods, multiple but not to the point they get out of hand, and are easily divided. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/384/

If you're interested, I'd like to trade for your 'Chocolate Chip' Ajuga. We can work out the quantity or box size in a D-mail.

Thanks,
Susan
