I am looking for purple spoon daisy seeds. Does anyone know where I can find some?
CLOSED: Wanted: spoon daisy
catz, I was curious as to what Spoon Daisies were so I did a little research here on DG and meanwhile found a member who has cuttings of a purple/lavender spoon daisy. In case that would work for you. They sure are a beautiful plant, and can see it's hard to find seeds. Here's the link... http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1923/
Thanks rock. I sent dmail. I'll wait and see.
Still looking in the meantime :)

:)
Still looking and hoping.
Hi again catz... did a little more research. Seems that seeds for the spoon varieties, which are hybrids, are hard, if not impossible to come by commercially. So you would have to find someone with a plant to get a cutting, which at this time of year would be difficult. The good news though, I heard that the plants should be available at both Lowe's and Walmart when their bedding plant season starts. Don't know when that would be for you, I know for me it would be at least another 2 months. Something to keep in mind. Let me know if you find any, and maybe we can do a trade of some sort for a cutting.
Edited to add the following info.
catz, don't know if it's worth it to you but I found this ebay seller... the spoon daisy seeds are part of a mix, and expensive. Not necessarily a recomendation of this seller but just thought I'd let you know of it's availability.

Thanks rockgardener. I did happen to look on ebay and contacted the seller you mentioned. Seller could not guarantee color or quantity in that mix. Thanks for trying for me though. Good info about Lowe's & WM I'll keep a look out. Ours here are just starting to get their spring shipments. I'll let you know if I find some. I really want them. I would be glad to work out a trade. I'll just try to be patient for a couple more weeks and see what comes up. Thanks again.
