Violets in bloom

Stevens Point, WI

Hello all; these are violets I got last fall...there are 8 violets and one Rex Begonia I started from a leaf. All the violets except the standard pink NOID are from a lady on Ebay. I am so pleased with them. Only one is not blooming but it has buds coming. ChuLin

Those are very very pretty and such a nice assortment of colors. Very nice growing. Do you mind sharing who you bought them from?

So pretty! I bought some on ebay in late November. All are looking so healty, but no blooms yet. I'm pretty new to this. I had violets years ago. Now I have a nice stand and lights, fertilizer, and the excellent advice I'm gathering here. Now, I just wait......

Thanks for the nice compliments! I bought my violets (except for the pink NOID standard) from Iceberg2000 (Karin); store is Blossoms, Birds & Butterflies on Ebay. The white one is Golden Eye (semi-mini) with faint pink center blush around the yellow. I mist them all twice a day in the winter as it is so dry in my apartment, use Shultz food every time I water, and they either get natural sunlight or special lighting. Also they each sit up on "glass toppers" in saucers of water...not IN the water, mind, but just above it. I made sure I bought variegated foliage violets as I just KNEW they would never bloom for me and the foliage itself is so pretty! ChuLin
