japanese trailer update

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Anyone still keeping up with your trailer project? Mine still hasn't bloomed but has lots of crowns.I wonder if I should take off some of the older leaves to make room for the new crowns or maybe repot in to a pan pot even if it hasn't bloomed. What do you all think?

They both look great! Mine hasn't any buds either. The roots are coming out of the bottom. I wondered if I should put it in a pan pot also. So far I have only three crowns. Mrs. Bonnie, my chantaspring is growing straight up, it's not from lack of light either. I just can't figure it out. But I'm still ahnging in there. LOL!!

I never had any luck with chantaspring...probably because I wanted it so much because of the bell flowers!

I really didn't take pictures of my trailers. My Santa Fe trail is disapointing...hardly growing at all. My Ramblin Dots is growing in a straight line, not a symetrical rounded shape, but the leaves are growing back at a very fast pace, I keep cutting off the bigger ones and the next thing I know I need to cut them again.

From what I read you should cut off the bigger leaves so the leaves and crowns under neath get light to grow.

i don't know why my chantaspring is doing so well, i don't do anything extra for it, but i will send you a head when the weather gets permissable if you like.
