This is the father,I have been going back and forth as to what he is,I have seen pictures and he looks just like a silkie rooster then I have seen ones that make him look like a batam cochin, maybe he is a mix of both but I sure would like to know for sure.I am going to give away the roosters so I would like to know if they are true silkies or a mix of cochin and silkie, the mother is a silkie,so the babys would be 3/4 silkie if the dad is a cochin right?

I have two Silkie X Bantam pullets and they both look quite a bit like Silkies, with a shorter top knot--more like a Silkie roo's, and with normal feathering. One has five toes on one foot and four on the other.

Silkies should have five toes, feathered legs, black skin and mulbery coloured wattles and combs (sort of dark reddish purple) and blue ear-lobes. The comb should be "walnut" which is sort of a flattened bumpy one.

And then, of course, silkie-type feathering.

Apparently other breeds were used to introduce new plumage colouring to the breed and sometimes Silkies with that background will throw off-types (single combs in particular).

I'd say boy on 4 and 5, 1,2 and 3 I'd guess girls as well. Our girls had very small combs and the boys get them fairly quickly and if they get wattles they show up fairly quick as well. We have a Cochin Silkie mix roo that started crowing at 1 month old. He is now 2-1/2 months old and it is very obvious he is a roo.
They sure are pretty. Love the colors.

I went to the coop today to give vegies to my silkies and No. 8 was doing the rooster thing to his sister, advertised in our swap buy and sell book free roosters, hope they find homes fast.
