Unusual Spider plants

Ellendale, DE(Zone 7a)

I'm wondering if anyone has any unusual or hard-to-find spider plant offsets/plants/seeds to trade. I have green spiders, variegated spiders, and "reverse" variegated spiders. I have heard that there is a rare light-colored and/or variegated spider plant somewhere .... anybody have info? I would love to trade.

I have the Hawaiian spider plant. The leaves are bigger and slighty varigated. Can send a photo if you like tomorrow.

I have some baby 'Fireflashes' I could trade. These are large leaved, upright growing spiders that do not produce offsets, but instead put up a seedhead to reproduce. Their leaves are larger than your hand, and they have apricot colored stems.

Here's a picture of some of last year's babies. The lighter is to show scale.

Here's a pic that shows the stem color a little better. Of course, trading will have to wait for better weather- it's about 16 degrees here right now. :(

Doridunn,

Look above your post in the threads- I've posted two pics to show the babies. I don't currently have a pic of the mothers.

Sorry, forgot and was out of town. Here it is, looking a little pale, it needed water. It is a little darker green than that.

GAgirl, what would it take to get a trade ... can you cut me two babies and ship when the weather gets a little better (it's cold and snowing right now)...and is this a variegated plant, or not (I'm a little confused). Anyway, thanks for the pics!

I wouldn't call it a varigated one, but it is two toned. Only the babies have white on them, then as they get older its more dark green with light green in the middle. The blades on this one is thicker than a normal spider plant, probably 1 in. wide. I will try to get a better pic. tomorrow in the sun and when it is fully hydrated. Its really pretty.

I will be glad to trade or do postage. You will have to remind me, but I will go ahead and cut some off and get them rooted. I also have the one called 'Bonnie' It is the varigated curly one. It's really cute too! It seems to be a smaller plant.

Thanks, and do you have a Bonnie baby to spare as well?

I have a lot of things to trade above and beyond what's on my trade list. We'll keep in touch.
