I keep a dish on the ledge for my kitty. He loves to jump and munch. Lately I've noticed this filmy substance on the wall near the dish and inside the dish, as well. My kitty has a great appetite, does not show symptions of nasal infection and it's as active as ever. I'm puzzled about this. Also wondering whether some other critter is leaving this grossness behind.
I've washed the wall with a brush and soapy water and it disappears but the next day it shows up again. This has been happening for about a month.
