Changes for Dave's Garden
great show of support there for Dave I'm behind the movment... Does this mean we can mention BGI... and ABADS>>> well too late to include that one I guess... or is the new regime so afraid of What??
If Dave has anything to do with it, no. I talked to Dave last year and he did listen to what I had to say but in the end he said no. He just did not see that allowing us to mention the Brug Orgs would help make Dave's a better place. I remember when some people who were members of all three got really ugly. Thing have been real quiet lately and Dave wants to keep it that way. I could not argue with that and was just thankful that he allowed me to voice my opinion.
Well...as a member of all three myself.. they all serve a slightly different sector of the brug world... none of them serve all of it in the same way.. I've an interest in the strength of the product... the Brugmansia ... this is best served by a free interchange between the sectors... this strength... can only strengthen the devotion to all of the players... only Dave's... and BGI now.. the original ban if I understand it somewhat... was mostly the ABADS/BGI factions playing out poorly here on Dave's.. this is no longer the case.. and thus the reasons for the ban are passed... and if the ban continues.. it can only be the Dave's site saying that Dave's is all there is to it... far from the case.. lets hope there are broader... brug centered interests that can be played out here on Dave's wonderful forum... as the brug world's greater stature in the flower world can only benefit all the participants..
Welcome Michael... here's hoping you can see it clear to build up the flower kingdom's awareness and resultantly your part in it on so many fronts with so many aspects of it's enjoyment.. fluid interchanges of ideas .. and purpose

As I see it, Brugmansias are a very small part of Dave's, there is 234 other forums here. There was a lot more going on behind the scene than you know. Some people really made it personal, with Dave. If you feel this strongly about this, send Dave a D-mail. He may not side with you, us, but I am sure he will at least listen to what you have to say.
It does seem a moot point since ABADS is now history.
