Bird help needed

Bubbeez Fond Du Lac, WI(Zone 5a) Jan 18, 2010

My DH just got zebra finches (Mazy and Beakman) a few months ago. We've never had birds before. So far they've been doing well except in this last week Mazy has lost several feathers from her back and neck area. We are unsure how this happened?!!? Is Beakman being abusive? Do we put them in separate cages for a while? Could something else be causing it? Help!?
