need help

Blackshear, GA

Hello,
I have several afr. violets. I just love them and pick them up at Lowes all the time when they mark them down, so don't have many with 'names'. I got this one a couple of weeks ago and it is blooming again. I was watering it today and noticed the bloom. All my others have a 'flat' flowers or a rosette type. I have never seen one like this that has a bell shape to it. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks for your help

Thank you Connie, how is your new 'baby' doing?

I am still hoping she will pull through. I refuse to give up 'cause I love her so much LOL. I believe I am seeing a new "clump" starting to sprout. YAY!!!! If the leaves are dead but the stems are still green, should I leave it alone or cut them off? I don't want to scalp my new baby LOL!!! Oh, yeah, "NOW" the weather warms up again. I told you that was my luck.

If the leaves are dead, then I would cut the stems off, or they will fall off themselves eventually. Keep me informed, may have to send another later.

I will, Paula. Thanks for asking...you are a sweetheart :)
