A first for us. We have everything that would qualify for a bird sanctuary. The neighbor across the alley has his fence lined with very old, mature cherry laurel. We have two very old, very mature (shoot, can't remember the name, but they are native trees) holly trees covered in red berries. We have a FLOCK of robins all over the place. We have been bird watching for some 15 or more years and this is a first. Along with them are tufted titmouse which is not all that unusual. The Robins in a flock is and especially in January. Wonder where they were during the deep freeze.

Robins
Maybe they were trying to get away from some super-cold weather north somewhere. Snowbirds!
Brain dead this morning. That would be a Yaupon Holly. It is beautiful right now. Covered with bright red berries. But probably not for long. Usually the Cedar Wax Wings hit it in March.
That is amazing! we had a flock of robins one year too and it was incredible. Have fun!!
