Lycoris radiata plenum

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

Have you all seen the offer for it in market place.. I really want this one but 35.00 is steep and if I am going to pay that much I might as well order it from PD and get a few more plants on the wish list.

Hi marie,
I see that lycoris radiata is being sold by 9 DG vendors.....K Von Borgondion (sp) has them for $6.30 for a bag of 5 right now. Is this the same thing as lycoris radiata plenum????

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

No not the same thing. The lycoris radiata plenum is a double flowered Lycoris from Japan.

Okay well that makes sense. Thanks for the info. Sorry I was no help. L.

No problem. I was just wanting to see if anyone else had ordered this. I searched the internet to see if I could find it anywhere else and 35.00 is the best price.

I'm new to lycoris and that's a bit beyond what this newbie is comfy with:lol: I was going to post a question so if I may sneak it in here....I noticed that they have radiata (red) and aurea (gold/yellow) at the Walmart I work at for about $5 (can't remember how many per pack--I'll check tomorrow) and wondered if that was worth trying. The bulb selection has become pretty random and they're scaling back on the seed selection as well. I figured for $5 it may be worth a shot also factoring in no S&H.

Yes I think that is a great price!

Thanks--helps me to make up my mind:lol: They're just the basic red or yellow ones not doubles or anything but they look so bright and tropical:)

Glad to help :o)
