I was thinking I should check Valueseeds.com for some cheap annuals and lettuce mix, well I was greeted with they no onger sell seed and now have to go and buy sale seed from Thompson and Morgan. Which is why I have bought seed from them all these years. I was pretty bummed when I saw that.
Has this happened just recently or have I just been under a rock?

Hmmmmmmm... I think it's pretty recent. I also had no idea.
I ordered from them on 01/03 and haven't heard anything. I used my debit card but they never hit my account. The site was normal at the time. I'm sure going to miss them. This would have been my 4th order and I was really looking forward to it. The $ won't go as far anywhere else.

I know what you mean, That is why I bought annuals and such from them so I could use the other money for my organic veggies. Thompson and Morgan's sale page is more expensive and really not much of a deal.

This might help. I bought inexpensive seed from Water and Sun Corp. I don't have the link. Seeds were a dollar and up and no shipping. Not a bad variety either. Oh they were also Burpee seeds.

I did use Valueseds for some cheap thrills besides my yearly Pinetree order.
I've noticed that some Asian sites frequently have mis-spellings and improper use of some words. I figure their English is far better than my Chinese and cut them some slack. Some American sites appear to just copy and paste the descriptions that have the errors. I just don't expect to see than in a company's literature.
My order placed on 01/03 to Value Seeds must be going to be filled because they hit my checking account yesterday. They used to send an email but haven't gotten one yet. Always before, they were very quick to ship. If I'd known this was my last chance, I'd have ordered more.
yah, Molamola, put em up!! Just don't go to my last post and find the typo...oops ratted self out. I've always been picky about spelling. A personal weakness or strength depending on ones viewpoint? Yes I do make typos.
Hm, if somebody really wants those valuseeds, suppose they could still try ordering. Maybe the company is letting it work for awhile so people find the link to T and M.
If you're looking for cheap vegetable & flower seed, try Pinetree Garden Seeds & Fedco of Maine. They are great sources. Pinetree sells seed in smaller size packets and Fedco is a seed growing cooperative. I have certainly noticed big increases in seed prices over the past 2 years.
