A beautiful cottage garden blogspot

Chalfont, PA(Zone 6b)

Meadowyck shared this blogspot that she found in the perennials forum, and thought that you all might be interested. These gardens are beautiful, and are extremely cottagey. If you click on the link and scroll down a little ways, you can find blogs with gorgeous pictures from different months in her garden. Her gardens are an inspiration!

Pam, I have been following Carolyn Aiken's blogspot for over a year and she never disappoints her followers. She and her husband do all of those gardens by themselves. He does all the building of the arbors, trellis, etc. She is also a wonderful photographer;one of her hobbies. Check her tablescapes out too. That's how I started folliwing her blogspot. I'd love to visit her gardens and meet her in person. Her adorable grandchildren are so photogenic and Grandmom is sp porud of them. Can't you just imagine walking through her gardens in the Spring or Summer or having tea and cookies in one of the garden areas? You can get to her blogspot by just typing in the words Aiken House and Gardens. She lives at Prince Edward Island, in Canada. You could spend an hour just browsing through her garden pictures. Those roses and peonies are breathtaking. That is where I first learned about "Walker's Low" nepeta/catmint.

I couldn't find the slideshow of her gardens, only the still photos. Would you just love to vist there and walk through her gardens? Just looking at her photos gives off such peace and serenity.

what a great find. I'd love to have a 'proper tea' in the gardens.
i'm envious.

I would love to just have all her tea ware...LOL

I started a blog a while back and forgot about it now, I'm slowly building it. But I have a very young garden and nothing to compare to hers... but if anyone would like to check it out and offer up some suggestions I sure would appreciate it.

Janet, Thanks for sharing. I only scrolled through your blogspot quickly, b/c I'm supposed to be putting the kids to bed as I write, but I'll have to take a closer look when I have time. Looks great!
