Depends on what the weather is like.
yeah that is with a lot of things
Bummer! Too far, I fear. Logees is 2.5 hours away, but it is a worthwhile trip for me, especially this year. That's because my partner gave me a generous Logee's gift certificate for Christmas!
that's too bad
Mmmm, love Logee's. Wish I had more window space.
yeah me too.. more sun might be nice
anyone interested?
Sounds like a fun time but alas it is too far away and I wish I could get out of the house to go see green things. I remember your cute baskets from last year. If you go take more pics okay.
Michele did not want to stay to make a basket this year... so I guess we aren't staying.. but I would like to go to the greenhouse tour
I don't think I'll be making it either. : (
Allison, did you go??
no I still wasn't feeling too swift
:(
That's stinks. I wonder when they'll update their calendar?
maybe they are having a hard time with all this snow.. I think last year they had it updated by now
Hey anyone ever been here???
http://www.njbg.org/
nope.. but it looks nice
We should go.
tell me when is good for you
I'm free except except Easter week, I'll be in Disney.
you got the kids.. let me know
They can come, so whenever.
duh yeah there is that ... LOL ... never said I was good
hee hee
How about sometime in April or May?
may might be better.. unless they have early bulbs won't be too much blooming in april right?
hhhheeeeyyy I was there when I was a kid.. skylands manor ... I was there before.. a million years ago.. might be one of the places mom brought us to keep us busy... but if I recall correctly my sister and I ended up playing tag while my mom looked around... there is a mental photo that popped in my head with a large staircase in the middle of the garden.. big pillars or something
I have surreal memories of the Land of Make Believe. Did your mom ever bring you there?
oh yes.. lots of times.. there is another one of those parks I can't think of the name but pass it now and then.. and who can forget wild west city
Yes, on LofMB, but no on Wild West City.
Space Farms?
yes space farms.. what a sad place.. LOL.. I wanted to let all the animals out of there... think there was a storybook forest or land... when we visited my sister in middlesex we used to go to bocraft
if you guys ever want to go to this place it's very dangerous.. but really nice and anytime of the year.. the greenhouse is huge.. if anyone is crafty they have a whole barn with silk flowers & baskets.. all sorts of nice goodies.. they even set up christmas decorations for sale towards the end of fall .. it's a wholesale place that is open to the public.. two prices on each tag.. wholesale price and our price.. but pretty reasonable.. I was bored on sat morning so I took a ride there not thinking it was right before mothers day.. UGH what a nightmare .. took me 15 mins to just park my truck the lot is tight... and once you are in the lot you have to circle around the barn to get back out... only one way in & out... figured while I was already tortured might as well shop... got lots of nice things there that day though.. they give us nice big wagons to put plants on!!!.. sometimes I wondered how I would get all my stuff on one cart.. LOL.. the first time Randy and I went it took us over an hour just to look at everything .. garden ornaments, containers, trees, plants.. OH MY.. bad bad place!!

Storybook Forest sounds familiar. I don't remember Wild West City or Space Farms. My grandmother used to take us to LOMB often because she lived there. It was such a strange place! My sisters and I used to joke about the tour guide (?). He had such a sound of boredom in his voice. I still remember that!
When you said Morris County Farms was a dangerous place, I thought you meant physically dangerous because I was still thinking about how creepy LOMB was. Then I read on... Oh! Dangerous to the pocketbook!
yes yes.. deadly to the wallet!!!!
storybrook forrest!!.. in PA... google that.. and find this.. LOL

there was a place we went to in lake george.. you had to ask the water fountain that were shaped like animals if you can have a drink.. then the water would come out.. wanted to play with that all day!!!.. gotta give it to mom & dad.. they always brought us to fun places
Hey let's go. Anyone go to Santa Claus village? It was on the way to Lancaster.
There's a storybook land down in south Jersey.
Looks like the Plant sale is May 1 and 2 at NJB but may be crowed, if we really don't want to spend any $ May15th looks good...oh wait when is the round up at Roses R Red's house???
before or after labor day right?
Oh I thought it was in May?
