I need help......again!!

This is Mac's Southern Springtime (Nichole, this is one of your babies). My problem is that the outer leaves are beginning to curl. Is there any reason why? Are they just getting old? They aren't any bugs, believe me I have looked.....hard. Does anyone know what causes this?

they look like old leaves that are limp.I would take off those outer leaves & repot the plant.

I agree with Bonnie, I also think it looks to wet... but hey what do I know...LOLOL When you take the leaves off root them in case you kill the mother plant... Never hurts to plan ahead...

Hi Melanie,

I'm looking at this picture and wondering if the violet is planted a little too deep in the pot. It appears that the edges of the cup are really pushing up against those stems on the bottom leaves. There's no way they could lay flat the way you would want them to. I bought a violet that was planted like that and lost all the bottom leaves. I removed the damaged leaves and repotted it so that no more stems were pushing against the edge of the pot. The violet has been fine since then. Hope this is helpful.

Take care,

Pat

Thank you all! I will remove the bottom leaves, try to root them and repot. Then let's see what it will do.

Melanie
