Cardinal crushing a sunflower seed

This is one of those shots that I did not realize happened until I was editing photos at the end of the day. This cardinal was just crushing a sunflower seed when the shutter was released. Just blind luck on this one.

Absolutely stunning capture Chris!

It is amazing how much strengh is in those beaks. I got a serious of shots of one biting a kernal of corn right down the middle a few years ago.
