Yorkies...

I need to know about yorkies, do they shed? are they bad for people with alergies?
I have a poodle and he is great, and I had a maltese once and was ok with her. I have never been around a yorkie.
The papillion we have is making me sick now, so we will have to find her a home. I think I will try to find something else for my daughter, she has cried all day :(
I feel like a low life.

just wondering if anyone here has severe alergies to dogs and can have yorkies?
