Last Spring/Summer I grew fairy tale eggplant from Burpees, and although lovely and produced really well in the EBs, they were small slender ones, not exactly what you would use for Eggplant Parm. Now my sister, she grew Black Beauty in the ground, mine were in EBs of course. But, they did turn out huge and it seemed to take forever for them to produce. I've been trying to figure out what kind to plant this time around in my EBs and have a toss up between two that I've been reading and wanted to know if anyone has grown these and which they think would do best for me in my area. The first one on the list of might plants is the Black Beauty of course. The second on the list is the Florida Market. They seem similar; but, the Florida Market is made especially for the south and is an old standby. Has anyone planted this one?
