You can go to the top of the home page & click on the different tabs. It will get you around the site. Lots of stuff on here. Most will tell you what to as you go.

Welcome & Merry Christmas!

Use the "browse" button Herbie mentioned to click through folders on your computer until you get to your photo files. I'm not sure with photo shop, but you might have a file called "my photos" or something within photoshop where your image files are... or, just open the photo from within photoshop on your computer, choose "save as" and save it in a new folder on your desktop or somewhere that will be easy for you to find when you're uploading photos to DG.

It sounds like you're having trouble finding the photos on your computer rather than having trouble with how to upload the photos onto DG, and I'm not sure I can help you find files on your computer.

Good luck!

Welcome to DG from a Texan! I can understand. I only understand how to import photos to the computer through my Kodak dock connection to Kodak software. But it's hard to edit or post them from the Kodak software. So I right-click one photo within a new file, to Open with HP PhotoSmart. Then I can edit them and save to My Photos if I want them. If I were a more technical-oriented person, I'd know a different way.
From the Communities tab at the top of the page, look through the forums for those that interest you, if you haven't already. For your DG mail, click on mail on the toolbar beneath the tabs. Check out the FAQ on the green toolbar also, lots of info there. Enjoy, you'll like DG, I bet!

When you are putting your photos on here keep them smallish. Mine are 1094 x 821.
They load faster & also open better for people looking at them. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to edit mine.
I have a Kodak EasyShare V1003 camera. It has a cable plugged into a USB port that connects to the camera. Pictures go in in a flash.

I load them into a file on my desktop & then sort into the right folders, example, Farmers Market 2009, Iowa Round Up 2009, etc.
Saves lots of hunting & I can load a bunch of different pictures at the same time, then sort later.

oh my, my son just put a picture on for me i told him iris he put climbing lily, oh well cant do anything about that now. i forget my 3 grown children know less about flowers than i do about the puter! he did a good thing though he moved all of my flower pictures into a folder on desk top,he says this will make it simple for me. what ever. only time will tell. i will keep at it until i get it wright.
