I just got a fabulous book about color in the garden called Fearless Color Gardens by Keeyla Meadows. Pixy, I think you especially would love it.
My only criticism is that the author is a very talented artist and without all the very expensive garden art she shows in the book, one would not be able to recreate similar gardens. But it's very fun to look at and gives some great ideas and examples of how to use color in the garden.
She has an earlier book, Making Gardens Works of Art, which is out of print but I'm trying to track down. If it's even half as good as this one...
