It would be impossible to dmail everyone and wish them a Merry Christmas, I'm sure I'd forget someone, then I'd feel terrible, so I'll just send everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New!!

I appreciate all of the folks here who have taken time to answer not only my questions, but everyone else too.

I don't often post, but, read as often as I can, and silently covet home made scarves and hats!!

I did not offically sulk for a NWD since Wren made Billy one and it is more importaint that Billy keep warm, and I did not want to be greedy...

Melissa he would not be picky, he would just love any egg... I went out today and fed them what was left of the stew I made a few days ago, hoping that would prompt them to lay an egg....

It snows 8 inches & I get 22 eggs.. out of 30 hens. Been only getting 8 a day. Can you say confused....

MsJ, I thought they were looking for excuses, so I'm pretty sure if you throw out a token sulk, you could snag one of those NWD looking for a neck to wring... er, warm. =0)

I took some friends out to visit the donks today, and sure enough Shenanigans zeroed in on the ends of the NWD and slurped them right into his mouth... NO NWD for me.

Though I wouldn't mind a new watch cap, but that sulk is done. {{{sulk}}}

I didn't sulk either, I just secretly coveted one of the NWD's, I'm not picky, my coat is black, so any lovely color would do; so I coveted all of them! Jayryunen, I would most likely covet a HWD as well. :)

I really don't know why my girls are laying when no one else's are, although the black copper marans just started laying a couple of months back.... my other ones have never stopped laying.

Just went out to put them in... 5 more eggs. This is ridiculous... some of these hens never set a toe out of the coop today. They ate like pigs, corn, bread, mash...
