good news! as of right now mom does NOT need another surgery to put a plate in.. he thinks it will heal alright for now. He will take the pins out in the office. Which means.... I CAN GO TO WASHINGTON NEXT MONTH! baring any major problems here... I'm buying my ticket next week. :0)
My chickens had a birthday party for me... They somehow got into the kitchen & found the cherry topped cheesecake that was there, a box of crackers, several apples, oranges & different veggies that were in some slightly smashed cans.. o & a handful of birdseed they swiped from bird feed bin. They arranged it all around the back feeding area. Some of them wearing quite a bit of the cheesecake since they couldn't seem to wait for me to eat it.
I dont get to be her first wish... But I can be her second...
