When I first saw it, I thought Am. goldfinch, But when I enlarged it, I changed my mind. I don;t know what it is. Dog-gone-it, I think I've seen it on here before, but just don't remember.

dellrose - you are dead right. I looked it up in my "Birds of Georgia " book (by Stan Tekiela) and the pic in his book looks just like my mystery bird. As a matter of fact, the pic in my book is the one I now remember seeing, just over looked it in my search.
