On January 10th PBS/Nature will have a special on Hummingbirds from North and South America! Be sure to check your local listings. Hoping to be able to bump this up as a reminder just before it airs.
A PBS event- "Hummingbirds In The Air"
Thank you for the information Pelle. I always look forward to seeing anything on hummers.
It should be a good one duc. A number of american bander's will be featured also.
Thanks for the "Heads-up", pelle.

I can't believe someone could have captured the hummers catching the bugs-outstanding photography! Thanks Pelle once again! I loved it.
Just be glad they are not BIG birds.
Pelle, Oh so cool!!!! I can't wait to watch this. Thanks for the post!!!! :)
What time does this air on the 10th?
Thanks, Pelle. I'm off to set up the Tivo.
Yes I'm looking forward to this.

Mine is on at 7pm
Thx Mrs_Ed! 8pm here.
That was amazing! thank you for sharing with us
I'm sure I'll be watching it every time it comes on.
I searched and searched but I couldn't find an answer to how many parts are in this series. Did you find anything, pelle? It says it "premieres" and that it's "introduction" so I assumed there would be more episodes. Maybe that's wrong.
Hi Marna, I'll ask some people who might know more. I'll get back to you.
So far this looks like a single episode. I'll post if there is any different news.
Okay, thanks
Definitely just a 1 hour special. I'll post a reminder closer to the day.
Don't forget this is tomorrow night!!!
I'm anxious to see this one!!
Oh No! I missed it. :(
Hi claudcat, You can watch it here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1068732/
Just give a minute to load.
Thank you for the heads up it was just a wonderful show.
Thank you so much for the heads up! It was just such a wonderful program
Forgot to say I loved the video, but am disappointed that they went to all these countries to film the hummers and ended up with only an hours video. I know the scientists will gain knowledge, but I love these birds and would love to learn all I can about them.
The financial end of it probably cost a fortune. In the "behind the scenes" part of it I remember her saying how long they would be at places only to be able to get a few minutes of video.
Duc, I'll send you a D mail soon.
Thanks Pell :)
