I spent about 2 hours here today, it was really overcast and cold, but bird's were about. The thick brush and trees/limbs/weather gave me a hard time trying to focus on some of the bird's. First picture (quite a few today) is my main path, there are 3 others but this always produces for me.
Here's the first bird I seen. Most of the pics are cropped hopefully not to big.

Northern Cardinal
Another of the Cardinal, focusing the lens was the hardest part of the day.
This Tufted Titmouse was among about five other ones, only good shot I got of them.

The 2nd White-throated Sparrow picture was mis-identified it is actually a Song Sparrow.
Great photos Burd!! It sure looked cold there, hope you can find the hand warmers. Your birds are beautiful and this area sure gave you a great variety. Thanks for sharing them with us.
You might look for those battery opperated "electric socks" too. They are sold in the outdoor section of the big box stores (& Wal Mart & KMart I think)
Thx JuneyBug, I had 2 pairs of socks on and my wolverine boots, so I was comfortable there. But my hands were cold and I couldn't feel the shutter button to well, will be picking up some of the handwarmers this week.

Thanks Margaret, even though there's several paths, this one is not as busy with non-birder's. Lots of people jog and walk here, and only see a wooded path that leads to a beach.
What a great place to visit Burd...love the variety! Hopefully you will go back and get more shots without your hands freezing..!
I think my favorite shot is seeing all those Bluebirds together...a rare treat.
Burd_Fotos - So many nice pics, but that Female Cardinal with the yellow tint was the one that caught my eye. Really a looker.
