Thrips damage

If you are not familiar with these little suckers, take care, they are hard to get rid of. They are just barely visible without magnification. A 30x or 40x microscope gives you a good view. Some people think they are cute. I'm not one of them.

Wow,I've never seen thrips do that much damage!!

There might be something else going on here besides thrips, but thrips are definitely part of the problem. A few days ago I sprayed my infected plants with one of the Safer sprays containing pyrethrins. It seems to have done the job, but I will repeat, as per the label instructions.

It almost looks like a burn,like fertilizer or chemical damage.
