Your sinningia is pretty,I love the flowers but it doesn't seem to match up with the gessie reference sights picture.Could it be labeled wrong maybe?Scrool down to conspicua

Yes, it does look like the pic of Diastema vexans from one of my Gesneraid society books. Nice!!!!

Sorry I haven't been back here in so long. You are absolutely right about that ID! I ordered Diastema vexans and Sinningia conspicua seeds from the Gesneriad Society. I obviously mislabeled the seed trays because I have several of these and none has yellow flowers. Thank you for pointing out the error.
