I have been sprouting citrus because I wanted to see polyembryonic (more than one baby in seed) seedlings. Now finally I have 2 sprouts from one lemon seed. How do you know which is the mother clone and which is the fertilized seedling? I have some nice looking grapefruit seeds coming along, so hope to learn about this fascinating topic :). This is mostly for fun, as I can't grow 50 citrus trees indoors, but I would love to understand it anyway....
Polyembryonic seedlings. Who do you keep?
