Ooooh, an interesting proposal! What of the colours involved?

Lodi, United States

I second it.....

Rankin, IL(Zone 5a)

I say... HAY!! I'm in.. camo for him? lol.. nah he's too sweet for camo.

Clarkson, KY

I'm thinking that the colors at least should be rich and er...man-some earthtones. Perhaps with a hint of evergreen somewhere to show how very...{insert complimentary adjective(s) of your choosing here} he is...

Clarkson, KY

Of course he looks good in red and white....
....................................?!

Richmond, TX

Patriotic - red, white, and blue!

Lodi, United States

Or a toned-down Christmassy burgundy and dark green...muy macho....

Clarkson, KY

That now....has potential!!

Lodi, United States

My son always wanted red, white and blue....I have some nice scarves in those colours his Grandma crocheted for him....

What about the Lady Haystack?

Clarkson, KY

Gentler shades of same?

Lodi, United States

That would work....rose and medium green....or rose, cream and a lighter blue....

Clarkson, KY

Rose, a fine, light-weight sparkly green, and cream.

Are we outfitting our own Mr and Mrs Claus here???

Lodi, United States

Sounds like it.....:0)

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

He has his great-grandson living there now too. He's a cutey.

Lodi, United States

That's right! He needs a macho one too....

Clarkson, KY

true!! Good call, Loreen!!

morehead, KY(Zone 6a)

You ladies tickle me to death!
Geo

Clarkson, KY

Whoops!! Got another one!! Reeeel him in, Ladies!! Hey Geo(rge I'm presuming)!! Long time no!

Lodi, United States

Hey, George! Where you been?

morehead, KY(Zone 6a)

I have been moving. We bought a house and have been going crazy moving the house stuff, plant stuff and of course my poultry. I have free ranged most of my birds and now am having to catch them.

I cheated and bought a new coop(didn't have time to build one). The Amish make them, deliver them and set them up. I can't wait to get them out of these holding cages and into their new place.

I am going to miss my hollar', but the new place still borders the national forest and I have a creek, so I'm happy. The great thing is I also get sun now. I have my magazine orders ready to go!

Now next week is catching peacock and Guineas. That will be the great adventure. I have caught them before, but not without blood shed.
Good to see everyone. Things got a little "shaky" on this forum awhile back and I bowed out for awhile, but I just love reading all the goings on here now.
George(Geo)

Clarkson, KY

Well you've been missed and it's great to see you back, sts.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

Agreed George - things did get shaky, but I think we've rebalanced now. It was a bad scene. I was gone for a while too. Good luck with your poultry catching escapades. Take band-aids! LOL!

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Whereas I think this is a grand IDEA....

Clarkson, KY

Well...it seemed a grand idea. But Mr Haystack, he is avoiding it altogether...what to do...

Lodi, United States

No--that is the advantage--we can ambush him and his beloveds with NWD--he will be helpless before our onslaught!

Clarkson, KY

Now I feel better...sold

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Now this is a manly color

Or we could get wild with this color

Lodi, United States

I think the first is most manly, Wren....

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I would agree but he could not hide if he was waring the second.

Clarkson, KY

I love the first. GGS might do the second...

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

The second is not soft enough for a little one. Who about this one.

Clarkson, KY

hmm...I'd do that for a girl, but...

Dartmouth, NS(Zone 6a)

they're all nice, good idea!

Richmond, TX

I think the grandson looks like a bright color sort of guy, the muted yarn for Mrs Hay, perhaps?

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

there is a lot more colors out there. maybe we need to have a committee to decide the colors.

Clarkson, KY

I always put bright stuff on my little girl for swimming and for snow -both so that she'd be easy to locate at a moment's notice.

Kingman, AZ(Zone 7a)

Good idea Grow... We dont get alot of snow here, so Billys colors fit just fine...

Joplin, MO(Zone 6b)

ooo how did i miss this thread. Did you vote on colors yet?
