Okay, what kind of comb is this?

Remember Nugget. Well she is all grown up and laying eggs. Here is a closeup of her, she has a very unusual comb, lots of points. What on earth kind of comb is this?

Pretty cool! But I don't know what you would call it.

A "buttercup"?

And I like the way this person thinks...obsessively:

Catscan educates us again!

Interesting, it sort of looks buttercup. That second link is quite interesting catscan.
My son said it looks like two really pointy straight combs side by side. She is mixed with a Golden Laced Polish roo and a Silkie hen. So I guess whatever you get with that mixup is what we got in this comb.

Sorry but that thing looks more like a bumble cup, than a buttercup. Nothing personal smedge but....LOL.:o(

or a carnation? LOL
darling if you ask me!

Conroe, TX

darling? Haystack or Nugget? just kidding.
She is a darling little chicken. She is so so soft, bigger than a Silkie but not as big as a full size hen. Her shape reminds me more of a Cochin bantam but a little bigger and then with a plume and comb on her head.

the chicken...LOL

Haystack is darling too... but he doesn't sport a comb like that!
