New plant species found in Austin: The 64-year-old amateur naturalist
Robert Corbin has discovered a new plant species on one of the islands
by the Montopolis Bridge, reports the Austin American Statesman.
Corbin, who owns Nomadic Notions, describes it as '4 feet tall with small,
green pea-like nodules hanging from it.'

And not one picture of it. But I can understand...when they went back to look at the plant Corbin first found, someone had already dug it up. They did locate more plants. But these plants need protection. Quite an honor for him, to have a "new" ancient species named for him.
