Here are some Hibiscus blooms from today starting with Hibiscus "Midnight Serenade"
Ft Lauderdale Hibiscus Blooms On Dec 3, 2009
Wow, Jon. Think you're just showing off. And, I might add, rightly so. Black Voodoo is stunning. Liked your White Magic & your twin Giganormous.....oh heck, they are all fantastic. Was wondering if y'all had any bad weather where you are? We had a little snow yesterday morning & supposed to have more in the morning. Fine with me as long as it is gone by noon.....:-) Sorry, about that Deb but I don't love it. Jon, your other flowers look so pretty too. Your yard must be the envy of the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing your beauties with us.
Judy
Thanks Judy. I've been really good at keeping things weeded and pruned lately. That makes a big difference in how things look, generally speaking. The weather is cooling off, except for today's 86 humid degrees. Gardening is fun during the winter months. I tend to plant much less in the summer.
Sorry to hear you've been getting snow. It's not my thing either. Could be some thunderstorms in the next day, or two, as a cold front passes through the area. I don't think its gonna snow here anytime soon. The last time it snowed in Ft Lauderdale was Jan 19, 1977.
Jon
wow Jon thanks for the pretty blooms.. I have to save "White Magic" is my fav of the day.. Thanks again..

Great Blooms Jon..
I really like Midnight Serenade and Pay Dirt. The Cooler temps have made the colorations a bit different for me out this way. I havent been able to get any of the veins on Pay Dirt llike yours. I had my eye on Galaxy Star for a while. The pic you posted put it on my must have list. Here is a pic of Midnight Serenade with the cooler temps right now.
Nice blooms Jon. Our "Pay Dirt's" look very different. Here's another picture I took of "Galaxy Star" yesterday. It's going to blooming a lot in the next few weeks. Word of warning/advise on "Galaxy Star". It's probably the fastest growing hibiscus I own. It will double in size in just a couple of months.
Jon
Well what is this, competition of the most gorgeous hibs, why am I always the last one to know about it, LOL!
Jon & paczona, you both have such gorgeous hibs, you sure know how to make a person jealous, but I still have hope of being able to compete with with your beauties some day. Love your photos of gorgeuose hibs, keep them comming and thanks for sharing the with use.
Wilfred
Hi Jon & Jon. You guys can just keep showing off all you want to. I'm loving every pix you post. Beautiful blooms to brighten another gray day. At least its not snowing! Deb, you can have my share of that. :-) Jon, that Galaxy Star is stunning. So glad y'all are posting pictures. I have some blooms but y'all have already seen mine. Looking forward to the next co-op. Hey, Robert, are you getting ready? Wasn't it Robert's Hibs on the last one?
I joined too late & didn't know what they were about. But, now I'm experienced in co-ops, thanks to Deb. Have a great day & thanks for sharing with us. Has anyone heard from
Patrick?
Judy
Has anyone heard from Robert for that matter too, has been a long time since his last posted on the forum, really miss him. wrote him a D-mail but no answer from him.
Judy will write to you a D-mail tomorrow, take care, have to go now.
Wilfred
Thanks for the info Jon
I like the faster growers as I have quite a few that take so long to grow.
Thanks Wilfred and Judy.. I've been off the board for a bit but will go through some pics from the last month or so to share.
I had someone else ask me about Robert today. I hope everthing is well with him.
Hey Jon! Nice to hear from you again! Been wondering about you..
