I see two caterpillars. Are they two different instars of the Cloudless?

No, the Cloudless caterpillar comes in two color forms. The green one is most common. However, when the plant blooms in the fall, the caterpillars eat the yellow flowers thereby turning themselves yellow to blend in. But they come out as the same butterfly.
