If they're in Sandusky OH, they should be Black-capped.

Looking in my atlas and books, if you travel south to Upper Sandusky, you'll be getting Carolinas from about there southwards.

Photo taken in Vermilion, Oh which is 20 miles east of Sandusky. I noticed the line for Black-caps/Carolina's in my guide slices halfway through the state, thought maybe Carolina snuck up here. ok Thx Resin.
