I received some Allium Globemaster bulbs in a trade. I am wondering if it is too late to plant them out? I am in zone 5b
TIA
allium - Globemaster
No problem to plant them now. Just cover them with some extra mulch.

Thank you!

You are gonna love em!
I am looking forward to them.... I have some of the smaller ones!
I agree with flowrgirl1!!! We have lots of alliums in our garden and Globemaster was our very favorite last year. Perfect proportion and strong stem that is a lovely color. I ordered 8 more through the coop with eflower this summer. I should have ordered more. I just planted them yesterday along with a mess of other alliums as well as many other bulbs from the same coop. Bert sent some really great bulbs to us. Thanks Patti
I wanted to get in on the co op, but things have just been a bit tight with this current economy. I am hoping that perhaps next fall I can get back into the co ops. I saw where Bert also had the Snowflake bulbs - which I have wanted for a very long time.
Have to tell you, my husband is the one that got me started on the alliums. I am hoping to add some of the white ones at some point as well.
Is it too late to plant them here in zone 9?
