Does / Has anybody grown this ? I was thinking of getting seeds...but my track record w/ passi seeds is less than stellar. Also, would it be suitable for growing in Central Florida ?

Me too....I'm looking at getting seeds...I'd just rather have a plant to start with....sigh..............
seeds I am discovering are hard and time consuming, but hopefully will be worth it in spring.
