The 13th Annual Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival
January 27-February 1, 2010
is a super place to be this January. Check out the website:
http://www.nbbd.com/fly/
Many field trips will be led by some of the best birders in the country...often by the people who write Field Guides. This year, among several other uber-birders, David Allen Sibley (Sibley Guide to Birds) will be a Keynote Speaker.
Lots of exhibits, seminars, workshops, book signings, vendors, tour operators, etc. etc.
I'll be helping out with the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge Beginners Tours (listed under workshops) and in the MIWA Bookstore (Merritt Island Wildlife Assn.)
We attract birders and wildlife enthusiasts from all around the USA and beyond and are minutes from the Kennedy Space Center and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Birding Festival in Titusville Florida
Oh, I forgot Jonathan Wood's Raptor Project...always a very popular show.
His Birds are always on stage and can be seen up-close and personally all during the Birding Festival-

That sounds like a great time Ned! Wish I could be there.
You can be there pell.
Here's how:
Take NJ-73 to the Jersey Turnpike (Breakfast at the Cracker Barrel on 73-have Scrapple)
Go South on the Pike-get on I-295 S
Cross theTacony-Palmyra
Turn left on I-95
Drive to Titusville (Lunch at the Cracker Barrel beside I-95-have Grits)
LOL!!! I'll have the scrapple, no thanks on the grits. :-)
If I could drive up to NJ before lunch, I'd probably head up there to see the Ivory Gull! :)
