Update on RR Plants

Chicago, IL

Hello everyone I'm sorry to have been out of touch for so long. My membership expired and I wasn't able to renew right away. It seems a lot has happened in a month.

I have mouse ears on two of the leaves from the RR! I lost all of the tentative things the things that didn't look that good but I figured I'd try instead of throwing them away. And the plants and leaves that a couple very nice DGers sent to me are doing very well. Some of the baby plants only had 4 or 5 leaves in early September and now have 10 or more. I did lose some of the leaves to rot but I think it's because it was hot when they shipped because I didn't lose other leaves that I received from someone local at the same time. Maybe the stress of shipping makes leaves more likely to fall to an attack of fungus or bacteria or whatever causes them to rot. Just wanted to say thanks again.

I hope everyone is doing OK and that the RR plants or leaves are growing for everyone.

Thanks Lynn. I hope everyone has been well and enjoying growing their plants. I know I have been enjoying mine. I look at the picture I took when I first got them and look at them now and am amazed.

Hi mrsbonnie it's great to see you too.

Good to see you back. Glad to know you are enjoying growing your plants and leaves. Yes, the heat and travel is hard on plants and leaves and some just can't handle it...sometimes the small mini ones are the first to go and other times they are the ones to do better than the larger ones. Guess it depends on the variety.

I'm still waiting on the RR box to come my way. Should be soon.
