Holiday Greeting Cards

This is an open invitation to demonstrate your holiday spirit, stretch your imagination, and expand your creative abilities. Turn your photos into seasonal greeting cards, and show us the creations.

To get the ball rolling I’ll post a few of my creations.

The only limits, all photos must contain a bird, and the extent of your imagination. Post as many holiday greeting card photos as you wish.

My hubby uses my photos to make all our cards and when I showed him all the above, he made this one up for me.

A Cardinals' holiday wish.

Nice cards everyone. At $1.00 per card (boxed cards) in the store, a few bucks could be saved by designing one's own cards.

These are all so wonderful. Much better than the ones DH bought...

Good point Linth. PLUS, all these photo places like Walmart, Walgreens etc, make it easy to have your own cards made. Not to mention places like Zazzle. I did my own calendars last year.

Love everybody's cards....I am inspired now to figure out my Adobe Suite that came with my new Mac!!

Hey, my Grandmother was a Jimmie too! Beurah James Taylor Bultler, known as Jim or Jimmie her whole life.

Hey JuneyBug - what a coincidence. Your Grandmother is the only other Jimmie I've ever heard of - and I taught high school for 30 yrs before retiring.

My wife's name is Jimmie Nell. Get this, when she enrolled at North Georgia College, in Dahlonga (where we first met), they had mistakenly assigned her to an all-male dorm. Her daddy put a stop to that.

Her friends down here in Columbus (and me, too) call her Jimmie, but I noticed that her friends back in Chamblee, Ga. call her Jimmie Nell. Of course, I usually call her Sugar, or Babe, or Honey - rarely Jimmie to her face. I use "Jimmie" when speaking of her to someone else.
